U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. John Barrett, 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron commander presents Tech. Sgt. David Hoy, 628th LRS Fuels Control Center NCO in charge, a Bronze Star Medal award for his excellence during a deployment to Afghanistan, June 18, 2020 at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. During his deployment, Hoy traveled to various Afghan bases where he would advise on processes involving jet fuels transport and storage. He was rewarded with the Bronze Star Medal as a result of his commitment to the mission.
