The Munitions Flight helps keep JB Charleston safe

The flares are used on aircraft in order to attempt to divert attention when the aircraft is believed to be in danger. This is just one task the munitions flight has to perform, other tasks include flightline support, base support, and NASA and SpaceX support.

JB Charleston Naval Health Clinic prepares for Navy-wide COVID-19 testing

Hospital Corpsman Petty Officer 1st Class Daniel Williams, assigned to the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command, demonstrates how to safely put a swab in a test tube that is used to test patients for COVID-19 on July 8, 2020 at the Naval Health Clinic Charleston on Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Hospital Corpsmen from the NHCC were tasked with learning how to administer a COVID-19 swab test. The training will be used to test symptomatic patients and Sailors as well as asymptomatic Sailors to attempt to lessen the spread of the virus.
