Annually, in accordance with Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Air Force guidance, a consumer confidence report, also known as an annual "drinking water quality report," is published and distributed to water system customers to describe where your water comes from and what's in it. All of Joint Base Charleston properties are supplied water from various public water systems in the Lowcountry. Each one of those public water systems publishes its own consumer confidence report summarizing water sampling results, potential risks and general information about the water system for the previous calendar year. Coverage areas and links to the appropriate consumer confidence reports are listed below. Additionally, hard copy reports can be found at both the Air Base and Naval Weapons Station privatized housing offices.

JB Charleston's drinking water is also monitored on a monthly basis by the 628th Medical Group's Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight at many points across the installation for quality assurance purposes.
