437 AW crew provides Maria relief within hours

The mission to St. Croix marked the second mission the crew flew to the Virgin Islands for humanitarian aid in 48 hours.

Last evacuated C-17 returns home

Senior Airman Daniel Guilian, 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, taxis in the final C-17 Globemaster III evacuated from Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Sept. 15, 2017 due to Hurricane Irma’s potential landfall here. More than 20 C-17s were evacuated from JB Charleston by Sept. 9, 2017. Airmen of the 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron ensured the relocated C-17s were maintained and prepared to conduct hurricane recovery operations to the South from alternate installations including Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
