841st Transportation Battalion conducts MRAP On-loading Operation

More than 200 pieces of equipment were loaded onto the Liberty Maritime Corporation’s ship Liberty Passion, June 15, 2017, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. – Weapons Station. Members from the 841st Transportation Battalion staged, processed and configured the equipment in support of Marine Corps pre-positioning and staging across Europe and Asia. The 841st TB conducts surface distribution and port clearance operations in support of Geographic Combatant Commanders and deployment readiness.

Charleston Reservist earns spot at World triathlon championships

Jamie Turner is not serving in uniform as a Reservist in the 317th Airlift Squadron flying C-17 Globemaster IIs, or as a FedEx pilot as a civilian, she represents the Air Force in triathlons around the world. Turner was recently selected with a hand full of other athletes to represent the United States at the 19th Annual CISM World Military Championship August 2017 in Warendorf, Germany.
