Sandrea Hershey, 14 years old, tours a C-17 Globemaster III alongside Airmen of the 437th Airlift Wing during an Airman for a Day event here, Oct. 2, 2017. The event was hosted by the 628th Air Base Wing and 437th AW. Hershey was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and spent approximately 170 days in a hospital. Despite her diagnosis Hershey kept up with her school work and finished her final treatment last month. Innovation saves AMC $2 million annually
October 2, 2017 — The 437th Airlift Wing began modifying the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft with new mounts for the Electronic Flight Bag Sept. 25, 2017.
