Blood donors receive stickers after donating their blood during the American Red Cross blood drive Feb. 5, 2014, at Joint Base Charleston - Air Base, S.C. The donated blood will be sent to a Red Cross blood component laboratory where it will be processed into several components; red blood cells, plasma, platelets and/or cryoprecipitate.
