Bumpy landings will soon be a thing of the past

A US Airways Express aircraft taxis down an active runway as contractors work to rebuild runway 03/21 at Charleston AFB May 26. The runway construction is part of a $30 million project to completely replace the deteriorating runway. Wrapping up loose ends

Airman 1st Class Felicia Liotino gathers a mass of network wiring May 19 at the Education and Training Center here. The wiring was installed to provide computer connectivity for inspectors during a base-wide inspection. The custom computer and telecommunications setup provided inspectors with the tools needed to communicate among one another and ensured an expedited inspection.
