841st Transportation Battalion supports major 1st Infantry Division movement

— The 841st Transportation Battalion from Joint Base Charleston, S.C. and the 1st Infantry Division from Ft. Riley, Kan., worked together to receive, document, organize and ship over 2,400 pieces of equipment in support of Atlantic Resolve, a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to NATO allies and partner nations in Eastern Europe, which involves a regular rotation of equipment and forces . Charleston Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony

— Service members and civilians from Joint Base Charleston were among the approximately 200 people attended the event to honor the service and sacrifice of those who died in the Pearl Harbor attacks on Dec. 7, 1941. In all, more than 2,403 U.S. service members and civilians lost their lives, including 25 from South Carolina.
