Espinoza was presented the award during the 9th annual Military Woman of Year event held March 21, 2019, at the Founders Hall at Charles Towne Landing, Charleston, S.C. Upon receiving the award, Espinoza noted, “As the first one in my family to serve, it is honor to receive this and I am thankful for leadership and family who continually encourage me to work hard for my goals.”
