Security forces Airman wins Women In Defense award
April 3, 2019 — Senior Airman Sofia Espinoza, 628th Security Forces Squadron base armorer, was awarded the 2018 Junior Enlisted Woman of the Year award by the Palmetto Chapter of Women In Defense March 21, 2019. Espinoza was presented the award during the 9th annual Military Woman of Year event held at the Founders Hall at Charles Towne Landing, Charleston, S.C.
