Law enforcement out in force for holiday weekend

Patrolmen with the 628th Security Forces Squadron conduct a mandatory sobriety checkpoint screening at the Dorchester Road main gate at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., in the early morning Jan. 10, 2010. The checkpoint was conducted as part of the commander directed Operation Sober Roads 2. During the Fourth of July weekend, the 628 SFS will join a community-wide effort to deter, educate and enforce driving laws by conducting random sobriety checkpoints in multiple locations on base.
