Petty Officer 1st Class Nicus Griffin reflects on his Individual Augmentee deployments, Jan. 1, at Joint Base Charleston - Weapons Station. There were more than 8,000 Navy IA deployments last year taking Sailors to 14 different locations from Central America to the Middle East to serve in an array of different combat support roles.
