Charleston leads AMC in conserving energy

Rob Smith levels the supply and return lines for part of a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system Feb. 18 on Charleston AFB. There are currently four HVAC installation projects taking place at different facilities where outdated, inefficient heating and cooling equipment is being replaced with new, energy-efficient equipment and controls to help the base conserve energy.
