CAFB C-17 delivers 30,000 H1N1 protection kits in 6 nations

Airman use a 60K loader to transport 30,000 personal protection kits is loaded onto a C-17 at Charleston Air Force Base S.C., May 8, 2009. The pallets of personal protection kits were destined for Haiti, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, where health-care officials are responding to confirmed and suspected cases of H1N1 Influenza-A infections. U.S. Southern Command, headquartered in Miami, directed the mission after learning health officials submitted requests for assistance to U.S. embassies in their respective countries.
