437th APS makes baggage detail easier

1st CTCS tests strength

Airman 1st Class Nicholas Byers, 1st Combat Camera Squadron photographer, performs a squat during a weightlifting test Aug. 3, 2012, at the fitness center at Joint Base Charleston - Air Base, S.C.  The weightlifting test included bench press, squats, dead lifts and pull-ups. The total amount each Airman lifted was divided by their body weight to give a pound-for-pound strength score in both the male and female categories.  The voluntary program was the first weight lifting test held by the 1st CTCS.  It was started by the unit’s fitness monitors to motivate Airmen to diversify their workouts and show them the importance of incorporating strength training.  (U.S. Air Force photo/ Staff Sgt.
