CATM zeroes in on targets

Staff Sgt. Rossitor Alexander, an instructor assigned to the 628th Security Forces Squadron Combat Arms Training and Maintenance flight, fires an M9 pistol at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. July 1, 2019. CATM facilitates readiness by equipping Airmen with the knowledge and skills to use weapons properly, and provides support to local and regional military branches. CATM instructors qualify for the weapons annually to maintain proficiency.

Citadel hosts Military Appreciation Week

The 628th Security Forces Squadron and 628th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight represented Joint Base Charleston at the football game. Additionally, the Citadel hosted women’s soccer and volleyball games in support of Military Appreciation Week. The Citadel Bulldog’s football game against the Wofford Terriers was the capstone event, with Woffard winning 20-16.

RiverDogs host Military Appreciation Night

New Initiative streamlines base, county emergency response times

Base hosts tour establishing local security partnership

The boat tour was an opportunity to show Hanahan city officials the capabilities of Joint Base Charleston’s security forces. Additionally, as part of the tour, a new memorandum of understanding was ratified dictating jurisdictional and coordinated response between the base and the neighboring community.
