Air Base breaks ground on Visitor’s Quarters modernization project

Christopher Carnduff, 628th Civil Engineer Squadron commander, converse at the new Visitor’s Quarters groundbreaking Oct. 24, 2018, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The project is a result of low vacancy at the current Visitor’s Quarters. The modernized four-story structure will have 266 guest rooms, conference rooms, an exercise room, guest laundry and other amenities covering 150,000 square-feet. The Visitor’s Quarters project is slated for completion in Fall 2020.
