JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Greg Groover, Naval Air Systems Command munitions inspector, examines an AGM-114 HELLFIRE missile from a storage container Feb. 5, 2019, at the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek, S.C. A cache of the missiles was underwent routine maintenance and inspection procedures to ensure their reliability on the battlefield. Civilian inspectors and maintainers from Naval Air Systems Command traveled to Charleston to alleviate the cost of repairs and avoid any potential hazards of transporting the missiles.
