NAVAIR inspectors maintain HELLFIRE

JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. — A cache of the AGM-114 HELLFIRE missiles underwent routine maintenance and inspection procedures Feb. 5, 2019, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. - Naval Weapons Station to ensure their reliability on the battlefield. Civilian inspectors and maintainers from Naval Air Systems Command traveled to Charleston to alleviate the cost of the repairs and avoid any potential hazards of transporting the missiles.
