Green Knights MMC wins 2012 Knights of the Round Table Tournament

Members from the Chapter 37 Green Knights travel to Outer Banks, N.C., to participate in the Knights of the Round Table tournament Oct. 11-14, 2012. The Green Knights won this year’s tournament earning the rights to host next year’s event held Oct. 17-20, 2013, at the Short Stay Naval Recreation Area in Moncks Corner, S.C. The Knights of the Round Table Tournament is an annual motorcycle challenge between the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, the Green Knights Military Motorcycle Club and the Red Knights fire department, and consists of a motorcycle jousting competition, obstacles courses, a slowest and fastest rider contest and many more activities. The Green Knights’ mission is to address the needs and concerns of the military and DOD civilian riders, through education, safety knowledge and the shared joy of riding. (Courtesy photo)
