CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT LUCERO STOCKETT

Chief Master Sergeant Lucero Stockett is the Command Chief Master Sergeant of the 437th Airlift Wing, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. The 437th Airlift Wing deploys Airmen and aircraft worldwide in support of contingency operations that involve the airland and airdrop delivery of 
forces, equipment, and supplies. These missions support combat operations, Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed special operations missions and United States sponsored humanitarian relief efforts. As the Command Chief, she is the principal enlisted advisor to the wing commander, two group commanders, and seven squadron commanders for the utilization of over 2,600 personnel to maximize the wing’s combat readiness, morale, health and welfare. Additionally, she serves as the commander’s representative on numerous base and civilian committees, councils, and boards charged with meeting quality of force as well as quality of life needs for the base populace.

Chief Master Sergeant Stockett was raised in El Paso, Texas and entered the Air Force in May 2002. Her primary specialty is as a KC-10 Boom Operator with qualifications as an Evaluator, Instructor, and Formal Training Unit Instructor. She has also done a special duty assignment as a Military Training Instructor and served on Capitol Hill as a DoD Legislative Fellow in the office of House of Representative Mario Diaz-Balart. Chief Stockett has deployed in direct support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, NHERENT RESOLVE, SPARTAN SHIELD, and ENDURING SENTINEL.

Prior to assuming her current position, she served as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 379th Expeditionary Operations Group (EOG), Al Udeid Air Base (AB), Qatar.
