June 9, 2017
Col. Brian Neese, 628th Medical Operations Squadron commander, (center) talks with Dr. Joseph Sakran, Medical University of South Carolina assistant professor of surgery, about the progress of the medical personnel at Joint Base Charleston – Air Base, S.C., on Feb. 17, 2016. The goal was to improve suturing skills. Suturing is a stitch or series of stitches done to secure the edges of a surgical or traumatic wound.
