AMC’s first Spark Tank competition recognizes Airmen innovation, selects winners to advance to Air Force level
October 29, 2018 — Air Mobility Command held its first-ever Phoenix Spark Tank competition at the Airlift/Tanker Association Symposium in Grapevine, Texas, where four finalists proposed their innovation ideas Oct. 26, 2018, to top Air Force leaders and the president of VOX Space. National robot rodeo at JB Charleston promotes STEM, safety
August 17, 2018 — JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C.—Members of the 628th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal coordinated and hosted the 2018 Eastern National Robot Rodeo Aug. 13-17, 2018, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. SSC Atlantic, Lowcountry inspires next generation through STEM camp
August 1, 2018 — Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic, in collaboration with Trident Technical College, hosted more than 100 girls from four Lowcountry school districts for the seventh annual Girls Day Out (GDO) at Trident and College of Charleston campuses July 26-28, 2018. Innovation competition funds new squadron initiatives
June 7, 2018 — The 437th Airlift Wing received $450,000 to be divided amongst each of its squadrons as part of the Air Force Squadron Innovation Fund, an effort to revitalize squadrons. Air Force Bioenvironmental Engineers bring advanced exposure surveillance to the front lines
