JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. —
JB Charleston will honor local military veterans and retirees Nov. 10 during a Veteran and Retiree Appreciation Day at the Red Bank Club on the Naval Weapons Station from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will feature presentations from various agencies including Veterans Affairs, casualty assistance, TRICARE and medical benefits, educational benefits, Space A travel, Nonappropriated Fund employment opportunities, legal services, disaster preparedness, American Legion and other organizations in attendance with information about their programs and to answer questions and provide assistance.
The Red Bank Club is located outside the Naval Weapons Station Gate at 2316 Red Bank Road, Goose Creek, S.C. Military ID is not required to access the Red Bank Club or the event.
The first 200 visitors will receive a special buffet meal for $5. Lunch will be available for sale in the club’s dining room.
