Lt. Col. James Long, a C-17 Globemaster III pilot and 16th Airlift Squadron commander, flies a C-17 over Qatar, Oct. 30, 2020. Airmen assigned to the 15th AS, replaced Airmen assigned to the 16th AS, who were returning home after a 90-day deployment. Both squadrons fly and operate C-17s assigned to the 437th Airlift Wing located at Joint Base Charleston, S.C.
