JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, SC - Instructors with the 373rd training detachment show guests a simulation of C-17 Globemaster III landing gear used for training at Joint Base Charleston Nov. 7, 2019, as part of a continuing effort to strengthen collaboration between leaders from the base and local community. Approximately 40 district leaders and administrators, JROTC instructors, guidance counselors, teachers (grades eight though 12) and career developmental personnel visited the base for discussions on the importance of learning, inspiring, forging and transcending (L.I.F.T.) the connectivity between the base and educators. The engagement supported JB Charleston’s effort to collaborate with the local community and support students who are preparing to enter the workforce.
