JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Guy Sabin, left, vice president of the South Carolina Forestry Association, presents the American Tree Farm certification to and Barry Lewis, center, chief of the 628th Civil Engineer Squadron Environmental Flight and Alan Hill, right, base forester from the 628th Civil Engineer Squadron, during a ceremony at the Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station Child Development Center during the base’s Arbor Day celebration, held annually on Dec. 7. The American Tree Farm System recognizes outstanding stewardship in the management of natural resources including timber, wildlife, water and recreational opportunities.
