A P-23 Airport Rescue Fire Fighting Truck is shored and secured in a C-17 Globemaster III Sept. 26, 2018, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The P-23 weighed 44,600 pounds and was airlifted to North Auxiliary Airfield in North, S.C., to maintain emergency response readiness of the airfield after Hurricane Florence.

JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - A P-23 Airport Rescue Fire Fighting Truck is shored and secured in a C-17 Globemaster III Sept. 26, 2018, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The P-23 weighed 44,600 pounds and was airlifted to North Auxiliary Airfield in North, S.C., to maintain emergency response readiness of the airfield after Hurricane Florence.
