JB Charleston relocates, keeps mission going in response to pending storm
MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - Staff Sgt. Dungan Farver, 16th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, directs a humvee as it backs up to a C-17 Globemaster III at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, Sept. 8, 2017. After departing Joint Base Charleston in preparation for Hurricane Irma, the C-17 stopped at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida to pick up an En-Route Patient Staging System and a 15-person medical team. The ERPSS and team will fly to various locations impacted by the hurricane and provide medical aid.
