JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Loadmasters from the 437th and 81st Aerial Port Squadrons load a transportation isolation system onto at C-17 Globemaster III at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Aug. 3, 2017. The TIS is designed to provide aeromedical evacuation for patients with known or suspected exposure to a contagious or infectious disease while protecting aircraft and aircrew. The TIS was deployed to facilitate aeromedical evacuation aspects of Mobility Guardian, Air Mobility Command’s premier exercise.
