The AFAS is a private non-profit organization working to provide relief to Air force members and their families in financial distress and to assist in their pursuit of higher education goals. There are four charities that service members can donate to as part of the Air Force Assistance Fund campaign (AFAF). Those interested in the AFAF campaign have until April 14 to make pledges.
