McGruff the crime dog high fives with children participating in a mock deployment line event November 14, 2015, in a classroom at the 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron on JB Charleston – Air Base, S.C. The event was held to give children a glimpse into what it’s like for their parents to prepare for a deployment. During the event, children transitioned through a mock processing line where they spoke to several base agencies including the chapel, medical, finance, Airman and Family Readiness Center, base leadership and more.
