Bartholomew is a year and-a-half old plotthound mix. Bartholomew has been in training since December and has completed his basic obedience training and is working on intermediate training. Bartholomew knows more than 30 commands and is create trained. Bartholomew is unable to complete the service dog-training program due to his nervousness. He is a very sweet dog but can be shy. Bartholomew is sometimes leery of new people and will bark at them. This is not a behavior we can have in a service dog going out in public constantly meeting new people. It is recommended he go into a home with another dog and/or a more “calm” family.
