Shelia Reed, 628th Comptroller Squadron unit program coordinator hands out Holocaust remembrance cards at the Dorchester Gate on Holocaust Remembrance Day at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., April 16, 2015. A total of 1,000 cards were given out, with each card representing 6,000 people who lost their lives during the Holocaust. Today, Days of Remembrance events commemorate the victims and survivors of the Holocaust and are linked to the dates of the Warsaw ghetto uprising.
