Master Sgt. Aaron Avery, 16th AS standards and evaluations superintendent, is a 21-year Air Force veteran, with 17 years as a aircraft loadmaster, from Charleston, S.C. and always wanted be a part of an aircrew and travel the world. He hopes to eventually retire from the Air Force where it all started – in Charleston. Today, Avery has seen more than 130 countries as an aircraft loadmaster.
