Petty Officer 2nd Class Brian Cobb, 628th Security Forces Squadron master at arms, briefs Herschel Walker, former NFL football player, on safety when entering and riding in a harbor patrol boat Aug. 6, 2014, at the Joint Base Charleston – Weapons Station, S.C. Cobb took Walker on a ride around the Harbor before Walker spoke with Sailors at the Bowman Center. Walker visited the base to share his story about growing up in Georgia, playing professional football and how he sought help from mental health professionals for his struggles with dissociative identity disorder. Walker spoke and met Sailors and Airmen at both the Weapons Station and Air Base where he met with service members and their families and signed autographs.
