Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL star Herschel Walker meets with Airman 1st Class Casey Cooper, 628th Civil Engineer Squadron, during a meet and greet/autograph session at Rookies in the Charleston Club, Aug. 6, 2014, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Walker visited the base to share his story about growing up in Georgia, playing professional football and how he sought help from mental health professionals for his struggles with dissociative identity disorder. Walker spoke and met Sailors and Airmen at both the Weapons Station and Air Base where he met with service members and their families and signed autographs.
