ACCRA, Ghana – Staff Sgt. Matthew Smith, a flying crew chief from the 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Charleston AFB, S.C., signs off on refueling paperwork for a C-17A Globemaster Feb. 15 with Paul Adrah, supervisor with Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd.  The Airman was part of the airlift team bringing people and equipment to various locations on the African continent in support of President George Bush’s five-nation visit.

Staff Sgt. Matthew Smith signs off on paperwork with Paul Adrah, supervisor with Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd., for the refueling of a C-17A Globemaster III in Accra, Chana, Feb. 15. The cargo jet is out of Travis AFB, Calif., the crew, however, is from Charleston AFB. Sergeant Smith, a flying crew chief for the 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, will accompany the jet on its journey home.
