Charleston AFB held a memorial service Charleston AFB July 24 for Cigan, a military working dog who died of lyphoma at the age of 10. Cigan was assigned to Charleston AFB in 2001 and was recently training with his handler, Staff Sgt. Justin Langley, for a deployment to Afghanistan. The memorial service was followed by a procession to the burial site led by the Patriot Guard Riders at the Military Working Dog Kennel on base.
