A C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., prepares to depart Norfolk, Va., Jan. 15, 2010, carrying members of Virginia Task Force 2 Urban Search and Rescue to Haiti for earthquake relief operations. Virginia Task Force 2 is a specialized rescue organization comprised of highly trained firefighters, emergency medial personnel, dog handlers, engineers and physicians.
