Mine-resistant, ambush-protected all-terrain vehicles and C-17 aircraft sit draped in snow on the flightline at Joint Base Charleston Feb. 13 after an overnight snowstorm delivered more than three inches of snow. According to base weather flight personnel, the storm was moderate at best, starting as rain, progressing to sleet and finally forming snow. The snowstorm was an uncommon event for the Charleston area, resulting in several delayed takeoffs due to the weather. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Daniel Owen)
