Members of the Nancy Clayton Band play at the World War II Hanger Dance on the USS Yorktown in Mount Pleasant, S.C., in honor of World War II veterans March 13, 2010. The 1940s style Hangar Dance was held as a fundraiser which will donate 100 percent of the profits to the upcoming Honor Flight scheduled to leave Charleston this spring. The first Honor Flight Lowcountry trip from Charleston took place Nov. 7, 2009, with an outpouring of support from the Charleston community.
