The flightline of Joint Base Charleston, S.C., fades away as a Cessna-172 piloted by U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Jared Lambert takes off March 25, 2010. The flight was one of the few remaining flights Sergeant Lambert has to complete before earning his commercial pilot license. Sergeant Lambert learned the basics about flying from his father and already has his private pilots license. He said he enjoys everything about being in the air and the freedom of flight. Sergeant Lambert is a loadmaster with the 437th Operations Support Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Lauren Main)
