U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Leslie Montenegro conducts a chemical composition test at a non-disclosed Southwest Asia location June 22, 2010. Sergeant Montenegro is a bioenvironmental engineering technician deployed from Joint Base Charleston with the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group. As a bioenvironmental technician, Sergeant Montenegro surveys and evaluates community and industrial workplace environments and recommend controls to keep environmental and occupational exposures within acceptable limits.
