Command Chief Master Sgt. Mike Ivey holds the American Flag close, following the flag presentation by Command Chief Master Sgt. Terrence Greene during Chief Ivey's official retirement ceremondy which was presided over by Col. John Wood at the Charleston Club Aug. 20, 2010. Chief Ivey will retire in November after 23 years of service to the United States Air Force. Chief Ivey began his career as an Airman Basic on April 22, 1987 and proceeded to go above and beyond the call of duty, achieving the highest enlisted rank in the Air Force.  Col. Wood is the commander of the 437th Airlift Wing, Chief Greene is the command chief of the 437 AW and Chief Ivey will retire as the command chief of the 628th Air Base Wing.
