Trevor Ward receives a certificate from U.S. Navy Capt. Ralph Ward during the Little Heroes ceremony at the Airmen and Family Readiness Center on Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Sept. 14, 2010. The ceremony recognized the children of Team Charleston who have recently experienced a parent deploying or have a parent who is still deployed. Following the ceremony, the children took part in a reception which included socializing and snacks. Captain Ward is the Naval Weapons Station commander and Trevor is the son of Staff Sgt.
