Veterinary care provided on Joint Base Charleston

Army Spc. Depa Mead holds Guido, a golden retriever, while Capt. Andrew Schrader uses an ophthalmoscope to view the dog's retina. Using an opthalmoscope can help the veterinarian detect vision problems and various infections the animal may have.
