More than 200 chiefs and chief selects from Joint Base Charleston-Weapons Station participate in the 10th annual Heritage run at Patriot’s Point, Sept. 10. The heritage run made stops at five different monuments, one being the USS Yorktown (CV 10) giving the history and significance of its role during its commission. The heritage run is designed to unite chiefs and chief selects, exemplify Navy core values of Honor, Courage and Commitment and teach chiefs about our naval heritage.
