The 628th SFS hosted the firefighters in a day full of competition known as the "Guns and Hoses" fitness challenge. The competitions included a paintball match, defender ball and a softball game. The event kicked off National Police Week, which occurs annually during the week of May 15. It recognizes the service and sacrifice of U.S. law enforcement personnel.
