1Lt. Nicole White, from Scott Air Force Base, accepts her first place award after performing for a crowd of more than 200 at the Scott Air Force Base club Oct. 25, 2012. Ten performers participated in the 2012 AMC Icon, a contest similar to the famed American Idol in which contestants competed for cash prizes and a spot to perform in the U.S. Air Force Tops in Blue group. 1Lt.
